Der legend\u00e4re Schweizer Noise-K\u00fcnstler Joke Lanz hat eine treue, auf zahlreiche L\u00e4nder verteilte Fangemeinde. Seine hochoriginellen Soundperformances sprechen von der Liebe und vom Leben in unserer Gesellschaft, allerdings oft auch von Schmerz. Als Joke 13 Jahre alt war, nahm sein Vater sich das Leben, Joke h\u00f6rte den Schuss. Das hat ihn tief gepr\u00e4gt \u2013 als Musiker, Mensch und insbesondere als Vater. Das Ungl\u00fcck seines eigenen Vaters wollte er seinem Sohn C\u00e9leste nicht zumuten, ebensowenig wie dessen Abwesenheit. So schuf er nicht nur sich selbst ein Leben, das ihn \u2013 fern von allen Konventionen \u2013 gl\u00fccklich macht, sondern erfand gemeinsam mit C\u00e9leste auch eine Vater-Sohn-Beziehung, die ihresgleichen sucht. Regisseur Marcel Derek Ramsay n\u00e4hert sich Jokes anarcho-improvisierter Performance-Kunst, einer Art \u00abNoise-Punk-Industrial-Dada\u00bb, nicht nur inhaltlich, sondern auch formal an: Ein temporeicher, stark rhythmisierter und erfrischend unkonventioneller Film \u00fcber V\u00e4ter, S\u00f6hne und dar\u00fcber, was passiert, wenn verwundete S\u00f6hne zu V\u00e4tern werden.
