W\u00e4hrend die Olympischen Spiele immer n\u00e4her kommen, bereitet sich Rio de Janeiro vor, die internationale Gemeinschaft zu empfangen. Luxusherbergen, Sporthallen und Stadien werden errichtet. Alles muss perfekt sein, um auf den Fernsehbildschirmen der Welt zu gl\u00e4nzen.<\/p>\n

Doch als der Aufbau mit grossen Schritten vorangetrieben wird, wird gleichzeitig der Abbruch zum Problem. Ein Steinwurf vom Olympischen Park entfernt, liegt eine sensible bewohnte Zone, die Favela de Vila Aut\u00f3dromo, Schmutz eck auf der Postkartenidylle Brasiliens. Der B\u00fcrgermeister Rios l\u00e4sst nichts aus, um die Favela zu enteignen. T\u00e4glich werden die Bewohner unter Druck gesetzt, es werden ihnen Entsch\u00e4digungen oder andere Wohnungen in Aussicht gestellt. Nichts scheint die Bulldozer aufhalten zu k\u00f6nnen, die in wenigen Minuten Lebensraum zerst\u00f6ren, der \u00fcber Generationen aufgebaut wurde.<\/p>\n

Doch einige B\u00fcrger weigern sich, dem Druck der Stadtverwaltung nachzugeben und leisten, jeder wie er kann, Widerstand. Die zierliche Penha wiedersetzt sich mit unersch\u00fctterlichem Willen, Luis der Sportler filmt jede Bewegung des Gegners und Delmo bemalt heroisch die letzten Mauern, die stehen geblieben sind, mit Anklageschriften. Die Zeit vergeht, die H\u00e4user fallen, der Kampf zwischen den beiden Lagern wird immer heftiger und es bleiben nur noch 2 Jahre bis die Olympische Flamme in Rio brennen soll.<\/p>\n
