\u201cIhr Haus wird schon bald ein Museum.\u201d, \u00e4usserte sich Felix Vallotton bereits 1909 in einem Brief an seine Freundin, die Sammlerin Hedy Hahnloser. Die Basis daf\u00fcr gelegt hat das Winterthurer Sammlerpaar Hedy und Arthur Hahnloser in den Anf\u00e4ngen des 20. Jahrhunderts. In den Jahren 1906 bis 1936 bauten Sie eine Kollektion von internationaler Ausstrahlung auf, die unter anderem C\u00e9zannes \u201cPlaines proven\u00e7ales\u201d, Van Goghs \u201cLe Semeur\u201d, Bonnards \u201cEffet de glace ou la tube\u201d, Vallottons \u201cLa Blanche et La Noire\u201d, als herausragende Werke der klassischen Moderne beinhaltet. Oft fuhr das Ehepaar nach Paris und kaufte dort die Werke, die ihre Freunde, die K\u00fcnstler, ihnen empfahlen und pflegten langj\u00e4hrige Freundschaft mit vielen K\u00fcnstlern, als die Moderne in der Schweiz noch umstritten war. Der Besuch der legend\u00e4ren Sammlung Hahnloser war ein Privileg, das nur Freunden der Familie, K\u00fcnstlern und Kunsthistorikern einger\u00e4umt wurde. Jahrzehntelang umgab die Villa Flora, der Wohnsitz des Sammlerpaares, der Zauber des Unzug\u00e4nglichen, des Geheimnisvollen. 1995 wurden die Bildersch\u00e4tze der \u00d6ffentlichkeit in der Villa Flora zug\u00e4nglich gemacht. 2014 jedoch kann die Stadt Winterthur das Museum nicht mehr wie bis anhin finanziell unterst\u00fctzen.
Die Villa Flora ist eingefroren, ihre Zukunft ungewiss. Der Film erz\u00e4hlt die Geschichte des Sammlerpaars Hedy und Arthur Hahnloser anhand von Gespr\u00e4chen mit deren Nachfahren. Sie erz\u00e4hlen Anekdoten, ihre Kinder\u00a0spielen im Garten mit dem Spielzeug der Ur-Ur-Gro\u00dfmutter Hedy und klimpern auf dem Pianola des Ur-Ur-Gro\u00dfvater Arthur. Das Leben der Menschen mit der Kunst im Gesamtkunstwerk Villa Flora offenbart sich und zeigt sich in seiner ganzen F\u00fclle und Sch\u00f6nheit.<\/p>\n
