Unf\u00e4hig einen Sinn in seiner Arbeit zu finden, fl\u00fcchtet er jedoch feige und \u00fcberl\u00e4sst seinen Platz der bezaubernden Scheherazade. Sie braucht viel Mut und Esprit, um den K\u00f6nig nicht mit den bedr\u00fcckenden Geschichten dieses Landes zu langweilen! Im Laufe der N\u00e4chte l\u00f6st die Verzweiflung die Angst, und die Entz\u00fcckung die Verzweiflung ab. Sie teilt ihre Geschichten in drei Kapitel auf und beginnt folgendermassen: \u201eMan behauptet, oh gl\u00fcckseliger K\u00f6nig, dass in einem traurigen Land unter allen L\u00e4ndern\u2026.\u201c Der Ruhelose Scheherazade erz\u00e4hlt von den Sorgen, welche das Land plagen: \u201eOh gl\u00fcckseliger K\u00f6nig, man behauptet, dass in einem traurigen Land unter den L\u00e4ndern, wo man von Walen und Meerjungfrauen tr\u00e4umt, die Arbeitslosigkeit sich ausbreitet. An manchen Orten brennt der Wald in der Nacht trotz des Regens und an anderen k\u00f6nnen M\u00e4nner und Frauen es kaum erwarten, sich mitten im Winter ins Wasser zu st\u00fcrzen. Manchmal sprechen die Tiere, obwohl es unwahrscheinlich ist, dass jemand ihnen zuh\u00f6rt. In diesem Land, in dem die Dinge nicht so sind, wie sie scheinen, reiten die M\u00e4chtigen auf Kamelen und verbergen ihre schmachvolle Erektion. Sie warten sehnlichst auf den Moment der Steuereintreibung, um einen Zauberer bezahlen zu k\u00f6nnen, der\u2026.\u201c. Und als der neue Tag sich ank\u00fcndigt, schweigt Scheherazade.<\/p>\n
